MetaSano Terms of Use (Studios Guizo Inc.)

Welcome to MetaSano! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application ("App"), our website ("Site"), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the MetaSano App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the App. MetaSano is a product of Guizo Studios Inc., a company based in Montreal, Canada, and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatments.

2. Use of Services and Account

2.1 Who Can Use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract.

2.2 Account Creation and Security

  • Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
  • Users must update their information as needed to keep it accurate and complete.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur on your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use by emailing ms@metasano.com.

2.3 Service Modifications

MetaSano may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services at any time without notice. We will strive to inform users of significant changes, but we are not obligated to do so.

2.4 Account Monitoring and Suspension

MetaSano may monitor activities on the platform and suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, internal policies, or any applicable law. If we detect suspicious activities, we will attempt to notify the user before taking action but are not obligated to do so.

3. Use of the Application

  • Users agree to use the App for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • MetaSano does not replace professional medical advice. Users should consult their healthcare professionals for personalized recommendations.
  • It is prohibited to use the App for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity that could compromise the security and integrity of the platform’s data.

4. Privacy Policy

MetaSano is committed to protecting user privacy and follows strict guidelines for data security. Our services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) adopt HIPAA Safe Harbor methods for data de-identification, using tools such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Identity and Access Management (IAM).

4.1 Information Collection

MetaSano collects personal information, including name, contact details, health indicators, lifestyle data, and usage information. Information may be collected through user input, device sensors, and other sources.

4.2 Use of Information

MetaSano uses collected information to provide and improve App services. Personal information may be used for personalized health recommendations and notifications.

4.3 Data Sharing

MetaSano may share anonymized and aggregated data with third parties for research and analysis. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without user consent, except as required by law.

MetaSano does not guarantee health improvements, as individual results may vary depending on user engagement, medical supervision, and personal circumstances. Users should not ignore or delay seeking professional medical advice based on information obtained from MetaSano.

6. Notifications

Users may receive notifications related to their health, activities, and other relevant information. Notification preferences can be managed within the App.

7. Subscription Plans

MetaSano may offer plans in the following categories: free, freemium, one-time payment, or recurring payment, depending on the features used and user profile. Specific details of each plan, including pricing and features, will be available in the App or on the Site.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission. All content and trademarks within the App are the property of Guizo Studios Inc. or its licensors.

9. Limitation of Liability

MetaSano is not responsible for damages or losses resulting from the use of the App. Use of the App is at the user’s own risk. Under no circumstances will MetaSano be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages.

10. Account Closure

MetaSano reserves the right to close or suspend user accounts at its discretion. Any account closed due to a violation of the Terms will not be eligible for refunds or compensation.

11. Changes to Terms

MetaSano may update these Terms periodically. If significant changes are made, we will notify users via email or within the App. Continued use of the Services after modifications signifies acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MetaSano regarding the use of the Services.

16. Assignment

MetaSano may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms at any time. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without MetaSano’s prior written consent.
